Ron has been an attorney for over 10 years
specializing in Like-Kind Exchanges as both a tax advisor and qualified intermediary.
His breadth of experience spans both real and personal property exchanges. After several
years with top public accounting firms Andersen and Deloitte in their respective Like-Kind
Exchange divisions and a national qualified intermediary company, Ron founded Midwest 1031,
LLC, a tax consulting firm and Qualified Intermediary in Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition to
working with clients implementing high-volume LKE programs, he has advised clients on
simultaneous, forward, reverse, and improvement exchanges. His clients have included
Fortune-class companies, financial and banking institutions, family-owned businesses,
and individuals. Ron is a member of the American Bar Association, Ohio Bar Association
and numerous real estate associations. In addition, Ron is a national speaker, published
author, and contributing writer to tax and Like-Kind Exchange articles.
