CE Course: An Overview of 1031 Exchanges for Rocky Mountain Title

This course will provide an overall understanding of a 1031 exchange in relation to the Real Estate Industry. The course will educate on the purpose of a 1031 exchange, the history of 1031 exchange, the federal requirements when a seller is participating in a 1031 exchange, as well as when a buyer is participating, identifying other types of 1031 exchanges, understanding recent tax law changes and their effect on the 1031 exchange, and the Qualified Intermediaries role in a 1031 exchange.
