1031 Exchange Attorney
Pay Range: $101,000-$120,000
The Associate Counsel supports the legal analysis, administration, and execution of Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 1031 exchange transactions. This role develops specialized expertise in 1031 exchanges through hands-on transaction support, legal research, and progressive involvement in complex exchange structuring under the guidance of senior attorneys. The Associate Counsel collaborates with exchange officers, sales professionals, and leadership to ensure accurate execution and regulatory compliance. Over time, the role is expected to grow into a trusted subject matter resource supporting both client transactions and internal expertise.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients engaging in forward, reverse, and title‑parking exchange transactions, including gathering transaction facts and documentation.
- Draft, review, and administer exchange agreements, closing documents, and related correspondence under the supervision of senior attorneys and exchange officers.
- Maintain accurate client and transaction records within customer relationship management and related systems.
- Coordinate documentation and communications with internal teams and external transaction parties to support timely exchange execution.
- Assist with legal analysis of Internal Revenue Code Section 1031, Treasury Regulations, Internal Revenue Service guidance, and applicable case law.
- Support compliance with statutory deadlines, safe‑harbor requirements, and internal exchange policies.
- Identify legal, tax, or transactional risks and escalate complex or non‑standard issues to senior legal leadership.
- Assist senior attorneys and subject matter experts in structuring forward, reverse, and improvement exchange transactions.
- Conduct legal and tax research related to complex exchange scenarios, including multi‑asset and specialty property transactions.
- Prepare internal reference materials and client‑facing explanations related to exchange structures and legal considerations.
- Observe and progressively participate in client consultations with investors, brokers, attorneys, and other professional advisors.
- Collaborate with exchange officers, sales professionals, and leadership to support consistent execution and communication.
- Contribute to internal training, quality assurance reviews, and knowledge‑sharing initiatives. Monitor legislative, regulatory, and industry developments impacting Section 1031 exchanges.
- Perform other duties as assigned within the nature and level of work.
Preferred Qualifications

- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience practicing law in real estate, transactional, business, or tax‑related disciplines
- Coursework, internships, or professional experience involving real estate, tax, or transactional law
- Familiarity with Internal Revenue Code Section 1031 or qualified intermediary services
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate complex legal and tax concepts clearly to clients and internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated professionalism in client‑facing interactions. Interest in real estate transactions, tax law, or financial services
- Ability to manage multiple matters while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in cross‑functional environments

Sr. Software Engineer
Pay Range: $107,000 – $137,000
Sr. Software Engineer is responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. Sr. Software Engineer will have relevant experience with both front-end and back-end coding languages, software development architecture and design patterns, development frameworks and third- party libraries. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in DevOps and automation coupled with excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and translate business requirements into scalable and efficient solutions. Duties & Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership for a small engineering team by guiding implementation decisions, supporting teammates in resolving blockers, and partnering with senior leadership on technical escalations. Design, develop, and test applications (e.g. API, Web apps) in accordance with established standards.
Work closely with design and product teams to ship delightful, engaging products using C# (.NET), Angular, TypeScript, NodeJS, and RESTful API as well as other related technologies.
Mentor and coach team members through code reviews, pair programming sessions, thorough documentation, and technical guidance.
Contribute to and improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
Foster an environment where different backgrounds, cultures, industry and life experiences are embraced and valued.
Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.
Collaborate with other software developers, product managers and software architects to plan, design, and build software.
Ensure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are being considered when designing and delivering solutions.

5+ years of experience in software or solution architecture roles, with a focus on designing and implementing complex, enterprise-level solutions using cloud platform
Strong knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and architectural frameworks. Strong understanding of Continuous Delivery patterns, Cloud foundational patterns, Observability patterns, Developer experience patterns.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Accruit is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Business Development Director to expand our presence within the title, commercial real estate (CRE), and 1031 exchange markets. This individual will play a key role in driving new client acquisition, strengthening strategic partnerships, and contributing to overall revenue growth.
The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional with a strong network, a consultative approach, and a solid understanding of real estate transactions and/or 1031 exchanges.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to generate new client relationships and revenue opportunities
- Identify, target, and build relationships with title companies, commercial real estate firms, brokers, attorneys, and financial professionals
- Educate prospective clients on Accruit’s 1031 exchange services and technology solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing and onboarding
- Leverage industry knowledge to position Accruit as a trusted advisor and preferred Qualified Intermediary

Qualifications

Exchange Officer
Pay Range: $58,000 – $68,000
The Exchange Officer is responsible for processing 1031 exchange transactions and supporting clients throughout the exchange lifecycle. This includes preparing documents, managing transaction workflows, and assisting with onboarding and client support. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle more complex exchange scenarios with guidance.

- Assist with banking and funding tasks related to client accounts
- Maintain organized client files and reports
