In addition to his success and undeniable leadership at Accruit, Brent has been involved with the Federation of Exchange Accommodators (FEA) for over 20 years. He joined the board of directors, rose to President in 2010, and was awarded the FEA President’s Award in 2009 & 2016, a distinction that recognizes the individual’s dedication and service to FEA members as well as the Internal Revenue Code Section 1031 states that "no gain or loss shall be recognized on the exchange of property held for productive use in a trade or business or for investment if such property is exchanged solely for property of like kind which is to be held for productive use in a trade or business or for investment." 1031 Exchange industry.
